Moisture Absorption and Desiccant Kit

SUPERDRY’s powerful and effective desiccants have been used in the commercial cargo industry for years to protect cargo from mold, mildew, and corrosion caused by high humidity in enclosed spaces.  And now, SUPERDRY’s effective moisture absorbents are available for domestic applications such as homes and recreational type vehicles – including boats, yachts, mobile homes and caravans (Rvs).

SUPERDRY’s special formula allows the desiccant to absorb up to 200% of its dry weight and converts the absorbed moisture into a dry and safe gel or “putty”.  This kit is suitable for boats and vehicles up to 10 m (35 ft) in length and will last from 1 to 6 months, depending on the ambient Relative Humidity and volume of space being protected.

SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE

• To activate the SUPERDRY unit, simply remove from the plastic wrapper.
• Place each unit in its desired location, the 1 kg unit is more open and elevated position of the main area, and the 100 gm units in smaller spaces such as drawers, electrical boxes, clothes cabinets, or cupboards – any place with moisture problems or the smell of mildew.
• When the desiccant is “full” it will increase in size and weight and have a firm rubber-like feel.  Simply dispose of the desiccant as you would dispose ordinary waste.
